Sporting Schools - Lacrosse

Sporting Schools is an Australian Government initiative designed to help schools increase children's participation in sport and connect them with community sport opportunities. These programs are provided free to children and their families to help students build the confidence and capability to be active for life.

As part of the Sporting Schools initiative all students have the opportunity to participate in the Australian Lacrosse Association’s Quick Stix program in Term One, which is a free-flowing form of lacrosse for students to start learning the game. Lacrosse combines the development of hand-eye coordination and quick decision making in a positive, social and fun environment.
